Resolved: Newgistics - Very, very, very bad company!
Items arrived in a timely fashion, on 6/1/17.
I am most happy to report that my 'cute outfits' from Zulily.com arrived via the USPS yesterday, 6/1/2017 so that whole part of the Newgistics complaint {at least for that transaction} has, in fact, been resolved. I have further notified Zulily.com that I will not order any other merchandise from them until I am sufficiently convinced that they will not use this company for future shipments.
Thank you for your site &, if nothing else, a place to vent & warn others of evil businesses! It also should be noted that I frequently hand out smiley face stickers at businesses where I find an employee deserving, so there is that flip side to my personal consumerism.
Shalom all. maggie rezac
My first experience with Newgistics {a.k.a. WorldNet?} was on 3/2/17 when I ordered a little devotional for a friend from Amazon/Borders.
My first raised eyebrow was their 'eta' of 4/4/17-4/24/17? So I contacted Amazon/Borders to try to decrease the oddly long delivery time. I was informed by Borders that they had done so. I wait.
& wait. & try to track the book. Nope. Not possible.
By the first week in April, when the book still had not arrived at my friend's home in AZ, I attempted to contact Amazon via their FB page. Okay, I admit, I was a pissed off customer & may have blown up their page. BUT, then I got an email from Borders that my order had been cancelled & a credit was put on my account with Amazon. Nope.
Not there as of today, 5/28/17. By that time I had gone to my local Walmart & purchased the same devotional & shipped it directly to my friend. More dollars down the wormhole! Now, I have learned that another of my frequent e-retailers, Zulily has begun using this service & once again, I have an order of clothing in...Jamaica?????
I have alerted Zulily via FB Messenger of my evil experiences with this company & they have given me a $$ credit for the feedback. Yet my cute new outfits are???
Next memo goes to my brother, Judge Gordy, & the SD Attorney General's Office! Picked the wrong old lady to anger!
Reason of review: undelivered products.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Newgistics Cons: That my items were never delivered.
